2015 – A Quick Summary

2015 was suppose to be my year, but it didn’t work out that way.

Because, in all honesty, sometimes life doesn’t work out as planned.

I started off the year reaching for the stars. I had plans and goals. Some I achieved. Some I didn’t. And as the year progressed, some didn’t seem that important anymore.

2015 may not have been what I wanted it to be. There was a lot of sadness and a lot of heartache, but I gradually learned the process and power of coping and healing.

2016 & Life’s New Direction

However, not all was lost and the year of 2015 seemed to have a little silver lining in the end after all. The year actually ended on a high and 2016 will bring with it a lot of excitement and challenges and beginnings for my husband and I [hence, the lack of blog posts recently].

Honestly, I still can’t believe it is going to happen.

We both have agreed to keep it under wraps for the time being, but I just want to say that everything I think about it, it has me smiling from ear to ear.  It will even have its own special section on this blog, dedicated to talking about it.

And if all goes well, it will happen in late June of 2016.

And if everything works out as planned, there may be an announcement about it next month.

2016 Goals

All I plan to do this year is to live life to the fullest and be happy. I hope to publish my book sometime this year, but that may be put of the back burner for awhile – as there is something way more important to focus on right now.

So, needless to say, I am approaching 2016 with a positive attitude and a new perspective.

What are your goals for 2016?

  1. Oh, my! You have me guessing. What else could it be! I hope all goes well so we can find out about “it” next month. So exciting!

  2. Hope everything goes well for you, Constance. Wishing you all the best, and lots of hugs to you. I have no expectations this year, but to just take life as it comes and at the same time do what makes me happy. Positive is always the way to go as it gives us hope for a brighter tomorrow. Take care ❤

  3. Happy New Year, Constance! Like the rest of the commenters above, I think I know what “it” is and I really hope we are correct 🙂 In any case, whatever “it” may be, I think it’s a special enough event that deserves a CONGRATULATIONS! All the best for 2016! I’m sure I’ll be saying this again come Feb. 8th.

  4. Yup. I think we all think “it” is a baby. But even if it’s something else, you sound excited so I am excited for you too.
All the best and I can’t wait for the big announcement.

    1. They have a bulb inside. They look quite beautiful at night.

Yes, you mostly see red lanterns in Taiwan and this temple usually hangs new red lanterns each year. However, this year they mixed it up and did things a little different by alternating between strings of red and yellow.
