Sunsets, Flowers, & Lanterns – [Photographing 2015] The Nineteenth Week

Time Sure Flies When You’re Taking Pictures!

Really, it does!

Can you believe that there is only a week or so left in June? And that means we are nearly half way through this year. It is totally crazy how fast time passes.

And I am just realizing how far behind I am with posting the pictures I took for my 365 day photo project, [Photographing 2015] – nearly two months behind to be exact. So, I guess instead of posting them week by week, I will have to some doubling up and post them in two week intervals to catch up [starting next time as I have always got this post prepared and ready to go].

Oh, and as a side note, thanks to all those who left well wishes on my 10th wedding anniversary post and my post about being an expat for 16 years in Taiwan. I really appreciate all of you taking the time to leave a comment and I will finish replying to you all soon! I just need to get that book finished – so, so, so close now that I see the ribbon at the finish line! πŸ™‚

  1. Another wonderful set of photos, Constance. I really feel bad picking a favourite, I really like them all and they all show beautiful parts of Taiwan. I would say it’s a toss up between the lantern photos and the windmill ones. Just love the colour contrasts in the former and the windmill sunset pictures look exquisite.

So excited for your book. So looking forward to it, good luck with it πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks, Mabel! I have been enjoying this little photo project of mine. It means that I always have your eyes open for the littlest thing. However, some pictures seem a little repetitive as the year goes by [same subject but different angle and day.]

With regards to the book, every time I think I am nearly finished, I go through my notes and journal and find something that I had neglected to include. I guess it is all the process of being a writer.

  2. So many beautiful shots. I love the close-ups. My favorite is the second red-flower close-up. I remember driving through the countryside in the Philippines after the cotton flowers had popped. The air was full of them, almost like a snow storm. I’m also very fond of your first wind turbine photo.

    1. Thanks, Nicki. I was pleasantly surprised to see the area under the tree covered with cotton. It was my first time to ever notice it. So, I am sure it must have been a beautiful sight [and unique experience] to drive through sometime like that.
