[Photographing 2015] The Fifteenth Week

You can tell by just looking at my photos that it wasn’t an eventful week. My husband had signed up for a 100 KM cycling event that Saturday and I had my own plans to get out and explore, but the cycling event got cancelled due to heavy rain and my plans got washed away due to the weather as well.

However, my mother-in-law returned from Hokkaido with so many delicious treats for us. I must admit the dried strawberries coated with white chocolate were probably one of the best things I have ever eaten [and as an added bonus, my husband doesn’t like white chocolate, so I had them all for myself! 🙂 ]

Plus, I went to see Fast and Furious 7 in 3D. But, a day or two later, my eye became swollen and infected with cold sores all over my eyelid and I was battling an eye infection for nearly a week.

Well, enough with the doom and gloom, here are the [uneventful] collection of photos.

  1. The broken glass picture was cool!

PS. Is that movie any good? It seems everybody is watching it and I can’t find a single reason why I would watch it… totally not my style haha.

  2. I like the broken glass picture. So neat. Being sick is the worst…an eye infection sounds terrible!! Hope you are all better! Yum, the strawberries sound great. I’m not sure about chocolate corn. I would at least give it a try.

  3. Of course the gardenias are a real winner. (My bridal bouquet was mainly gardenias.) I’m curious about the bitter gourds. Are they always that color?

    1. I can understand why gardenias were your choice as they are so pretty and smell wonderful!!

Usually bitter gourd is green in color [but looks the same.] My husband says that both colors taste the same but the green one is healthier. I have tried it many times but I just can’t acquire a taste for it.

  4. I suppose it is a good thing that I can’t watch 3D because I never wear contacts. It sucks to have swollen eyes due to infection, most people who watch Furious 7 had swollen eyes from crying at the ending tribute part :/ .
