[Photographing 2015] The Fourteenth Week

This week’s photos are the combination of everything. There is a bit of this and a bit of that, but when all of them are put together, they comprise the perfect example of some of the things that you can see and enjoy if you are out and about in Taiwan. Hope you enjoy!

Lovely Lotus at Dusk - Taiwan
Lovely Lotus at Dusk – Taiwan

I know I included a picture [or two] of a lotus from the exact same pond in week 12. However, as I was passing the pond a couple of weeks later, this lotus caught my eye. It was so close and you can tell it was in the midst of opening. A beautiful sight indeed! [Unfortunately is was getting dark, so the color is not as rich as I would have liked it to be!]

Dragons at Night in Taiwan

I also featured a close-up of this dragon in a previous [Photographing 2015] post – week 13 to be precise. However, this shot was taken at night and provides a different perspective.

  1. no stinky tofu for us either… 🙂 even our Taiwanese daughter-in-law doesn’t eat it!!! btw, she’s perfectly tri-lingual: Chinese, English and French… in fact, she does speak Taiwanese, as well… 🙂 they’ll be in Taipei in about a month for 10 days to visit with her parents, relatives and friends, some of them ex-classmates from Chengchi University… small world, indeed! 🙂

  2. So many of your photos are so gorgeous they don’t seem quite real!! Like the dragons! 🙂 Always enjoy your photos weeks. 🙂 And yes… I’m up for some stinky tofu.

  3. As always I love looking at your pictures. We just visited Lukgang last week and I’ve collected some pictures of doors for a blog post, I love them. My favorite of yours today is the red pillars.
