It is hard to believe that four weeks has passed since I rang in the new year by watching a massive display of fireworks. 2015 has been a whirlwind of an adventure so far – stumbling upon two massive dragons, photographing temples, putting a face to the name and the blog, not to mention listing my hopes and dreams for the new year.
And this week was no exception!
The fourth week of 2015 had me photographing lots of different places and things. However, there seems to be a comon theme across all the photos this week, as most of them have some type of round or circular object in them.
Here is a sample of the pictures I took. Hope you enjoy.

Sound and Sturdy Structure
One thing I am realizing recently is how much I took the empty lot of land behind our house for granted. Now, it is a mess of steel as the walls are being constructed. And I am left to wonder how much of an impact it will have with regards to natural light when it is finished.

It is All in the Details – Taking a Closer Look
I discovered these flowers planted in different areas around town. And of course, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to photograph them!

Round and Standing Tall
This tree is massive and just the shape of it is enough to capture anyone’s attention. I just love the round shape of the top and how the roots seem to be a part of the trunk.

Peeking Panda and Panda on a Perch – 3D Panda Murals
Themed murals seem to be popping up all over Taiwan. Last year we visited an area known for its 3D cat murals while it was a work-in-progress (we also returned there Sunday to see the finished product so I will be updating that earlier post soon) and now there is an area dedicated to 3D Panda Murals. Even though the paintings are not as detailed at the cat murals, they are cute and have a fun side. I will post a photo-essay of the place in the near future.
These two are two of my favorites!

Three Dragons in One [Picture]
I found this temple while I was out and about. The dragons definitely rule the rooftop of this one. They were poking out from every angle and it was hard NOT to get a shot of several dragons in one.

The Perfect Treat with a Strawberry on Top
My mother-in-law knows how to spoil me. She gave this strawberry puff cream pastry which went perfectly with my cappuccino [made by yours truly.]

Sheer Lantern[s] and a Ceiling that Captures Your Attention
You know Chinese New Year is just around the corner with the vast amount of newly hung lanterns around town and in temples. I just love the sheer texture/fabric of these and the fact that the lighting was perfect so you could see right through them. And look at the ceiling in the first lantern photo! – Isn’t it awesome?
So, there you have it folks – A collection of pictures from the fourth week of [Photographing 2015]. Be sure to let me know which one was your favorite in the comment box below! As you all know, I love hearing from you and reading your opinions!!
~~AND Be sure to drop by on Friday when I once again hand the blog over to my husband. He will be revealing what it is like to take a plane and fly with me! 🙂 [A follow-up to the first excerpt that I shared from my book]~~
