True Love – Celebrating 9 Years!

True Love

9 years ago, on September 23rd, 2005, a priest started a church wedding ceremony in Canada by directing the following statement towards the Taiwanese groom.

‘It must be true love because I have never heard of anyone who has traveled this far to say ‘I do.’

And it is true love!

  1. Yay for anniversaries! Our #6 is coming up in a few weeks. It’s also fun for me to look at the significant dates of others and think about what I was doing. 🙂 Do you have anything special planned?

      1. With our anniversary part 1 and 2 around the corner, we have no plans officially but food will be the centrepiece. 😀 The two parts are for the city hall official marriage and the Shinto ceremonial marriage. A Shinto wedding series has been composed in my mind but not yet made it beyond the borders of my skull. If you do the post, it will be fun to read! 🙂

        1. Sounds like us! We got officially married at the court in June, had our Canadian church wedding and reception in September, and our Taiwan wedding reception in November. The advantages of marrying a man from another country is that you get to celebrate more than once!! 🙂

      1. Lol! You did that? Hahaha…I’m sure he’s seen his share of nervous brides and grooms…after all, it’s not like you’ve had much practice with putting a wedding ring on during a wedding..:)
